Malaysian on Attacks !!!

Malaysian Government encourages its businessmen to keep expanding their business unit in Indonesia.(Bisnis Indonesia. Saturday, Nov 12 2005)

I wonder how the theory of international trade can solve this problem, from Ricardian model to Heckser-Ohlin model. When a country are benefiting from their trade with another country, how come their partner of trade doesn't get any benefits at all or just an insignificance benefits? In trading with Malaysia, It seems that only Malaysia that gains benefits from "so called bilateral trade" while Indonesia doesn't, except providing a place of working for our TKI.

Indonesian Government ??? Hello ?? Are u There ?

World Bank Survey

Reading from the world bank publications about doing business in a country, i was very surprise that Indonesia is among the worst countries of doing a business. Indonesia is in the 115th rank from 155 countries in the best country for doing business. Some small and unfamous countries are even better than us ! i feel very ashamed.

When i read that publications, i realize that business environments in Indonesia is far away from a good condition. When a businessman start to make a business unit, they will face a lot of procedures and it consumes a great amount of time. When they are finally succeed overcome those problems, they will face another one, low productivity and high cost labour. If Indonesia doesn't try to evercome this problems, i'm worried that in the near future Indonesia will not be on the list of investor's targeted country. Such a great strategy and solutions are needed by us. This strategy should covers all of the aspects of doing business Indonesia and come from all of the actors, the government, the private sectors and people of Indonesia. Could it be happened now ?
