Malaysian Government encourages its businessmen to keep expanding their business unit in Indonesia.(Bisnis Indonesia. Saturday, Nov 12 2005)
I wonder how the theory of international trade can solve this problem, from Ricardian model to Heckser-Ohlin model. When a country are benefiting from their trade with another country, how come their partner of trade doesn't get any benefits at all or just an insignificance benefits? In trading with Malaysia, It seems that only Malaysia that gains benefits from "so called bilateral trade" while Indonesia doesn't, except providing a place of working for our TKI.
Indonesian Government ??? Hello ?? Are u There ?
